Description
Paprika is a variety of sweet pepper (Capsicum Annum) which is dried, ground and powdered.
It is used to give a bright red color to many foods such as sour cream, potatoes, chicken, turkey, fish, corn, yellow cheeses, skewers, salads and anywhere else you want to give the aroma of smoked wood.
Many chefs also replace tomato with smoked paprika.
To fully release the taste and aroma of smoked paprika, it should be cooked for a while or put on our plate. If it gets too hot it can get bitter.
