Description

Rose hip makes its appearance when the petals fall from the wild rose. It has an oval shape and orange-red color.

Rose hips are very rich in vitamin C. They also contain vitamins A, B and K, organic acids, tannin and flavonoid pigments (vitamin P), carotenoids (provitamin A), pectin and phytic acids.

Properties:

It is one of the best natural sources of vitamin C, so it helps to fight infections and especially colds by improving our body's defenses. It is typical that 3 rose hips correspond to the vitamin offered by an orange.

It dilates blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, increases the elasticity of blood vessels when they are fragile, stimulates hematopoiesis, increases white blood cells and improves cardiovascular function.

It is an excellent tonic and helps in cases of general weakness and exhaustion.

It is used as an anti-hemorrhagic agent in bleeding lungs, uterus, kidneys and wounds.

Used in disorders of the nervous system.

It is a diuretic and helps with kidney and bladder diseases.

Helps with problems of colic, constipation, flatulence and mild gallbladder problems. It acts as an antidiarrheal in dysentery.

Externally it is used in the form of a compress and for washing wounds, fractures, swellings, eczema, varicose veins, atrophic ulcers, chapped lips and skin.

How to use: Put 5-6 crushed fruits in a cup of water and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Strain and add if you wish sugar, honey or any sweetener of your choice. We drink 1-2 times a day.
