Willow herb has been known for a long time but in the course of time it was forgotten. The properties of the herb are mentioned in books before 1880. Its positive effect on the treatment of the prostate was highlighted by the Austrian botanist Maria Treben in the 80's. Very soon, in Austria and Germany, but also a little later in America, the herb became sought after.
Properties:
- It perfectly treats prostate hyperplasia, cystitis, nephritis and urinary tract infections. Helps in urinary incontinence in men and women.
- It treats digestive disorders such as stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhea, mucosal colitis, dysentery, food poisoning, intestinal cramps and irritable bowel syndrome.
- It helps women with uterine bleeding, leukorrhea and menstrual disorders.
- It treats infections of the oral cavity such as gingivitis, swollen gums, stomatitis, pharyngitis, lesions and sores of the mouth.
How to use: Put 1 teaspoon in a cup of hot water for 6-8 minutes. Strain and add if you wish sugar, honey or any sweetener of your choice. Ideally consumed one cup in the morning on an empty stomach and one in the evening before bedtime.
Caution! Do not consume during pregnancy or lactation, as well as by women receiving hormone therapy or birth control pills.
