Rooibos tea, also known as red tea, does not come from a tea tree but from the needle-like leaves and tender stems of the Aspalathus linearis shrub, which belongs to the same family as our well-known asparagus.

It is a cure for headaches and insomnia, fights asthma and hypertension, effectively treats allergies and premature aging and is the best aid for bone weakness.

It has a high content of antioxidants and iron, helps the function of the liver and stomach. It does not contain tein and caffeine.

Fine leaves, reddish brown, with floral aromas, reminiscent of hibiscus tea, along with a lemony and earthy note. Mild taste, almost sweet. Combines very nicely with dried fruits, spices and chocolate.

How to use: 1 teaspoon in hot water for 6-8 minutes

Caution: Do not consume during the course of chemotherapy and by people who suffer from kidney failure or have problems with their liver.
