Buckwheat does not contain gluten and therefore can be consumed by people with a gluten allergy.

It is rich in protein, B vitamins, vitamins E and K, folic acid, minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium and zinc.

It is used in many diets as incorporating it in our daily diet helps us lose weight.

How to use:

  • For breakfast. Boil 3 cups of milk or 2 cups of water. Once it boils, carefully add the cooked buckwheat, a little salt and a little butter. Continue boiling for 10 - 12 minutes, stirring regularly. Served hot or cold, depending on your preferences. If you want, add some of your favorite sweetener.
  • In cooking. Use it like rice, boiling it in a ratio of 1 to 2 water on medium heat for 15 minutes.
