Description
Rustyback is a type of fern, with a short rhizome that produces green leaves with hairs on the surface. It grows in Western and Central Europe, in areas of the Mediterranean and Crete.
It contains tannins and organic acids with a bitter taste.
Properties:
- It is used for diseases of the bladder and urinary tract in general.
- Ideal for removing kidney stones, against cystitis and nephritis.
- It is therapeutic for the spleen, chest diseases and cough.
- It works against diarrhea
How to use: Put 1-2 teaspoons in a cup of hot water for 6-8 minutes. Strain and add, if desired, sugar, honey or any sweetener of your choice.
