Rue Herb

Rue herb is an evergreen aromatic plant that reaches a height of about 1 meter. It thrives in dry areas and adapts well to the Mediterranean climate. We find it in many homes and gardens, thanks to its strong aroma and its ability to repel insects, cats and frogs!

Properties:

• It strengthens the arteries, protects the walls of capillaries, reduces varicose veins, edema and other problems of the circulatory system, while preventing internal bleeding.
• It benefits digestion, preventing stomach aches and heartburn, reducing gas and indigestion and stimulating liver function.
• It has antispasmodic properties that help treat various cramps, diarrhea and stomach cramps.
• Promotes healthy menstruation by increasing blood flow to the uterus. However it is not recommended during pregnancy because it can cause miscarriage.
• It is used to reduce stress, anxiety, nervousness and insomnia, thanks to its calming effect.
• Helps relieve pain due to shock or stress and reduces inflammation from rheumatism and arthritis.
• It can promote weight loss and reduce fluid retention, as well as stimulate the release of fatty acids from the tissues.
• It has insect repellent properties and can be used in closets to treat moths.

How to use: Put ½ -1 teaspoon in a cup of hot water for 8-10 minutes. Strain and add if you wish sugar, honey or any sweetener of your choice.

Caution! Do not consume during pregnancy and breastfeeding. May cause kidney problems and irritation to the urinary system. Consumption for more than 4 days brings weakness and fainting, possibly poisoning.
